Technology - Microsoft officially announced the name of the next operating system, Windows 10, on Tuesday, September 30. The name is different from circulating in the media over the years, Windows, Windows 9, Windows TH, Windows X, or Windows One.

In the launch event last night, Microsoft refers to Windows 10 is the most comprehensive platform they have ever made. Developers will be able to create a universal application that can be run anywhere.

"Windows 10 will run on a very wide range of products, from the Internet of things, to servers in corporate data centers around the world. Several of these devices have a 4 inch screen and some had no screen at all. Some of these devices you hold in your hand, when others are located far away. Several of these devices you are running with a touch pen, the other mouse or keyboard, another controller  / gesture and some devices van be operated in different ways," said description of the Vice President of Microsoft, Joe Belfior.

He added, Microsoft will attempt to transition users from Windows 7 to Windows 10 would be smoother. Therefore, at this time there are still millions of Windows 7 users all over the world. "We want all users of Windows 7 have the same feeling as when they were driving the first generation Prius, and now with Windows 10 which like Tesla," he said.

Microsoft believes, Windows 10 will be able to provide the appropriate users experience on a device that appropriate and at the right time. One of the most interesting features of the Windows 10 Start Menu is the same as the leak that has been circulating on the internet before.

Start Menu in Windows 10 is different with Windows 8 and Windows 7. It is a combination of both, so the tastes of users of Windows 7 and Windows 8 will be equally accommodated. "Tiles and emblem shown is a mix of classic applications and a new universal application," said Belfiore.

he new Start Menu is quite interesting because Microsoft does not eliminate the Lives Tiles. The user can still resize it according to taste. The unification of the Metro-Style and classic style Star Menu also make Windows 7 users will not feel strange, like when running Windows 8.

Microsoft also added universal search in the Start Menu, which can display the results of a web search. There's also a Task View, in which all open Windows will appear in the regards of the screen, making it easier to control the users. This sort of thing has been a long time we have seen in the Mac OS Operating System.
