Inspiring - Magazine cover is usually dominated by models dressed in fashionable, handsome face with makeup that is interesting. Yes, the cover of the magazine profiles generally show a man or woman who caught the attention of the physical side. But what do the Australian Women's Weekly magazine is actually different.
Model that became the cover of the magazine's July issue is Turia Pitt. Turia Pitt wasn't chosen at random. Pitt's face isn't as perfect as most of the models who appeared on the cover of the magazine. But, the figure who inspires makes it worthy to be appointed as the main figure.
Reported by hellogiggles.com, Pitt is an engineer who managed to survive after a serious fire which resulted in 65 percent of her body burned. This incident happened while she was trapped in a terrible fire. Doctors predict she can't survive. But, apparently God's power is much greater. Although most of her skin blistered, she survives.
Editor of magazine Women's Weekly said, "We chose Pitt because she in one of the women most inspiring who would want you to know. Every picture of beauty, wonder and wit feels attached to self-Pitt. We've never met someone more remarkable than her." Experience Pitt undergoing difficult times of her life written in a book called Everything to Live For. Not only that, the toughness was evidenced when she walked along the Great Wall of China to raise funds.
"To me, this appears to be the same as the magazine cover to convey the massage: confidence is as important as beauty. There are many women out there but don't have the confidence," said Pitt. Pitt is a person who can inspire us all. At a time when many people are not confident with her God-given, dare Pitt comes with all the self-confidence after the storms of life. Hopefully this story can inspire us all.
