Travel - The first in the Middle East will be built in Dubai as part of a new tourist complex worth 1.7 billion. Parks and Resorts Dubai project also includes the construction of  a Bollywood theme park in honor of the Indian film industry, and Motiongate Dubai, a Hollywood theme park.

The project was undertaken by Meraas Holdings, a company backed by the contractor Sheik Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister of  Dubai and Vice President of the United Arab Emirates. This project is part of the UAE plans to increase the capacity of  hotels and tourist attractions in the Middle East. Uni Arab Emirates also welcome 20 million visitors per year by 2020, when it hosted the World Expo. The amount will be doubled from 2012, and will shift the London as the most visited city in the world.

Construction of the first phase is expected to be completed on 2016, which will be located in the Jebel Ali Area, which is best known as a second palm-shaped island in the UAE. The development will also include dining areas and shopping, as well as a family friendly hotel.

The place is located close to the new airport, Al Maktoum International Airport Project, which will have five runways. Legoland in Dubai will be first in the Middle East and seventh in the world and will be open to children ages 2 to 12 years old.

Developers in Dubai earlier had plans to build a Lego-themed park, in the park known as Dubailand. However, the global financial crisis that take place in 2008 to make property prices in Dubai fell. "This project will feature leading intellectual property of the elite players in the industry to create to concept of  recreation and entertaiment," said Abdullah Al Habbai, a chairman of Meraas Holding, such as reported by The Telegraph.
